A: FAQ is an acronym for "frequently asked questions."
Q: What are your normal hours of operation ?
A: Our office is normally open from 9 am till 5 pm Monday to Friday but because of the nature of our business this can vary and we are sometime open at 6 am and close at 7 pm. However we offer a 24 hour contact service for urgent sameday services. Calls to our office will diverted to one of our operations staff. If for any reason this does not work you can call 07787 25 60 90.
Q: Can I pay via credit card.
A: We do accept payments via paypal. Please email
accounts@churchwardlogistics.co.uk and we will email you the link by return.
Q: Can I pay by cash
A: Yes we accept cash or cheques.
Q: What does "Suaviter in modo" mean ?
A: "Suaviter in modo" which appears on the Churchward family crest means Gentle in manner, resolute in execution.
Q: Do you charge VAT ?
A: Yes VAT is charged on all jobs and all quoations are given excluding VAT.
A: No, although 95% of our customers are businesses we also deal with the general public.
A: From time to time its necessary to calculate the volumetric weight of a package when the space a package takes up may cost more than the package's actual weight. This is usually the case when a very light package is shipped in a large carton for example.
The calculation being performed above is:
Width x Length x Height in centimetres / 5000 = Volumetric Weight in kilograms.
So a package 50 x 40 x 30cm = 12 kilos. If the package only weighed 5 kilos you would be charged on 12 kilo. WE are happy to do the calculation for you, if you give us a call.
Q: How do I open a credit account ?

Q: How do I apply for a job with Churchward Logistics ?

Q: Do we want a Vehicle Satellite Tracking System ?
A: No, we have one. We use Masternaut and have done for over six years. We believe this is the best system on the market and we have tried others.
